By ordering a tenant screening report through TenantScreeningBackgroundCheck.com (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Service Description

We provide applicants the ability to purchase their own credit, criminal, and eviction background reports that are instantly delivered to both the applicant and the landlord/property manager they specify.

2. Who Can Use This Service

You must be 18 years or older and have the legal right to enter into this agreement. You agree to provide accurate personal information.

3. Pricing & Payment

All fees are clearly shown before checkout and are non-refundable once the report has been generated and delivered (usually within minutes). We use Stripe for secure payment processing—we never store your full credit card number.

4. Delivery & Accuracy

Reports are generated from TransUnion, Experian, Equifax, and national criminal databases. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy because we rely on third-party data sources. You have the right under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) to dispute any inaccurate information directly with the credit bureaus or background-check providers.

5. Refund Policy

No refunds are offered after a report is successfully delivered. If a technical error prevents delivery within 24 hours, contact us for a full refund.

6. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for any decisions (rental approvals, denials, etc.) made using these reports. Landlords and property managers make their own decisions—we only provide the data.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to screen anyone without their knowledge and written consent, or for any purpose not permitted under the FCRA or applicable law.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The new version will be posted here with an updated “Last updated” date.
